Club Championships 2020

After running two championships with two worthy champions, Sian Roach (2018) and Mike Griffiths (2019), we have decided to review the rules of the championships to enable them to be more appealing to more runners.

Visibility

The rules and details below should make it clearer for those who enter (or don’t). There will be an entry form for all participants to complete.  Results will be taken directly from the events web sites.

Cost

Last year the cost of winning the championship was something in the region of £400. This year you only need to complete 6 races to have an opportunity to maximise your points. We even have a FREE park run.

Accessibility

It should make it more accessible for more runners to achieve more points as points will be awarded by gender and age category.  Current scores and positions will be loaded on a regular basis.

Variety

There are ten races to choose from, two trail races, three half marathons, two 10k's and three 5k's, including one Parkrun at Penallta.
